First Footage Of Justice League Action!
Check out the first footage of Justice League Action!
During a panel at San Diego Comic Con today, we got our first look at Justice League Action in well, action! The series will obviously draw comparisons to the seminal series Justice League & Justice League Unlimited, but Justice League Action is a very different series, even if it features some familiar voices such as Kevin Conroy & Mark Hamill once again voicing Batman and Joker respectively. Justice League Action is a little more focused on action and humor (not that the older shows didn’t have those in spades but they also made time for interpersonal relationships with a lot of continuity and season-long arcs) with much shorter episodes that run about 15 minutes a piece. This shorter format may turn some people off, but the highlight reel they showed for Justice League Action seems to present a funny & entertaining show even if it doesn’t get as deep as it’s predecessors, check it out below:
During the panel it was noted that Justice League Action will have pairings of heroes not often seen in previous animated series, rather than mostly focusing on the prime 7 or so founding members of the Justice League.

Justice League Action will debut on Cartoon Network this Fall. I do think it would probably be better if the episodes were longer to allow the episodes to breathe a lot more, but the highlight reel looks pretty fun, and this looks way better than similar short shows like say Teen Titans Go, which I really am not much of a fan of. It will be interesting to see some more unusual team ups if they really go for it. San Diego Comic Con is going on now and through Sunday and we’ll bring you all the latest news involving Batman from the even so stay tuned!
