Telltale’s Batman is coming out a bit later for the previous generation of consoles

After what seems like a very long wait, the first episode of Telltale’s Batman is coming out for PS4, Xbox One & PC this Tuesday, August 2nd, But what if you are still hanging on to your last gen consoles and haven’t made the upgrade yet? Well, you are going to have to wait a bit longer to play the first episode of Telltale’s Batman as for PS3 & 360 the game is now listed as “later in August”, but with no specific release date. Since there is no specific release date, heck it might not even make August. We will of course report as soon as we have a definitive date for the first episode of Telltale’s Batman for PS3 & 360 so keep an eye out for that if that is the version you are waiting for.

So now the best way to get your hands on the first episode of Telltale’s Batman is on PS4, Xbox One & PC when it comes out this Tuesday, but there are plenty of other options coming. There’s the physical disc release on September 13th, which will contain the first episode and then let you download the other episodes as they come because you are essentially buying the season pass. But that’s also when the Android and iOS versions will release if you want to play the game on the go. And supposedly somewhere in-between there will be the digital release for PS3 & Xbox 360

We here at Caped Crusades will be reviewing the first episode as it comes out. But honestly, like most episodic games, I’d advise you wait until the season is done and all episodes are out. Then you can play all the episodes at once and there might even be a big sale on the season pass. Look for our review of Telltale’s Batman sometime this Tuesday, August 2nd.
