Meet the Chinese equivalent of The Justice League in New Super-Man #2

Ok, for those who haven’t been completely caught up. Before Rebirth, there were two seperate, distinct Supermen. Both were Kal El, last son of Krypton, but one was in the New 52 Universe and had jeans and a T-shirt, and one was a more traditional Superman, married to Lois Lane and they had a child. Long story short, the jeans & T-Shirt Superman died and now post-Rebirth there is just one Superman. Well in America. Apparently now there is a new Chinese man in China who seems to have inherited the powers of the dead Superman. This dude even calls himself “New Superman”.

Now normally on Caped Crusades we don’t cover Superman titles because well, they are Superman and this is a Batman site. But this week’s New Super-Man #2 is a special exception, as it shows the introduction of China’s own Batman! That’s right, China has it’s very own Batman. And yes, he’s just called “Batman” (and a Chinese Wonder Woman as well). And much like our own Batman and Superman, their relationship doesn’t start off on the right foot.
