“Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD” Season 4: Daisy And Ghost Rider Team-Up
Could Daisy and Ghost Rider become a dynamic duo in Agents of SHIELD Season 4?
It’s been said time and time again during this Agents of SHIELD offseason that we’re going to get a darker season four, and that Daisy’s not going to be the same.
In fact, Daisy’s going to be a heck of a lot darker than usual. You all know how season three ended, with her feeling guilty and directly responsible for Lincoln’s death. The flash-forward showed us a Daisy on the run from the law and SHIELD (and looking very punk).

Chloe Bennet has made it very well known that Daisy is hurting and grieving, both from the loss of Lincoln and from losing being part of Hive. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she discussed how she wanted to crawl back to Hive even after Andrew saved her, Bennet said, “There must be a moment coming up in the next season where she reveals that. I think she feels like she can’t get close to people because wherever she goes, death follows.
So it should come as no surprise that Daisy and the newly-cast Ghost Rider are already having run-ins. Characters don’t always meet the best influences when they take a darker path, and Robbie Reyes would be the perfect person to meet on that kind of path.
We got a glimpse earlier this week of some videos on Instagram showing Agents of SHIELD filming a few scenes involving Daisy and Ghost Rider… well, at least his car. Check out one of them below:
I think it’s safe to assume that their initial meeting does not go as well as they may have hoped. Might we go so far as to call them frenemies? After all, they both have their own agendas, their own motivations for what they are doing, but maybe that will also bring them closer together.
Then again, maybe don’t listen to me. I’m the one who said Ghost Rider wouldn’t show up until the back half of the season to give us something to look forward to next winter/spring.

Regardless, this looks like a lot of fun, and Bennet went on record to say it’s been a blast working with him: “Gabriel is wonderful and fits in perfectly with the cast, and I’m excited to see where they go with it. All the powers so far have been really rooted in something that Fitz and Simmons can always explain. I’m curious to see how they tie in a flaming head/skull on fire, and how they explain that with science.”
We’ll find out come September 20th at 10pm!
