Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders Premiering At New York City Comic Con

Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders will have it’s world premiere at this year’s New York City Comic Con!

New York City Comic Con isn’t quite on the level of San Diego Comic Con, but it’s still one of the biggest and most popular comic conventions in the United States. So it’s not unusual to have premieres of notable comic book movies, big stars from film and TV, and a number of announcements as well. And this year, New York City Comic Con will be hosting the world premiere of the new animated movie Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders! This movie is a fun homage and throwback to the Batman of 1960s TV show featuring the same style and campiness and many of the villains. Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar are even reprising their iconic roles as Batman, Robin & Catwoman from the original TV show.

The premiere of Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders will be Thursday, October 6th. New York Comic Con itself will run from October 6th October 9th. There will also be a panel about the movie featuring Adam West, director Rick Morales, screenwriters Michael Jelenic and James Tucker as well as Warner Bros. Animation President and Executive Producer Sam Register. It’s unclear right now whether the panel will take place before or after they show the movie.

After having it’s world premiere at this year’s New York City Comic Con, Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders will premiere on Digital HD October 11th. That will be followed with the Blu-ray & DVD release on November 1st. Tickets are still available for New York City Comic Con.
