Telltale Games will have both a panel and a crowd play session of their Batman game at this year’s PAX Prime along with an unveiling of the next episode of their game

After what seems like forever, the first episode of Telltale’s Batman game finally released. It now it seems that the ball is rolling, as Telltale is giving us our first look at the next episode at this year’s  Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, aka PAX Prime.

PAX Prime is next weekend, and Telltale Games will be a pretty significant part of the event. First, there will be a panel in the Hydra Theatre at the Grand Hyatt at 2:30 p.m. That will be more of general panel. They will be discussing both The Walking Dead game series as well as Batman. They will talk about what to expect in upcoming episodes of both and have a Q & A session for fans in attendance.

Then Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. there will be a Batman Telltale Crowd Play event. This will be held in the Wyvern Theatre at the Westin. Telltale will be demoing it’s new “Crowd Play” feature and allow the fans in attendance to vote for what choices they make through their mobile phones.  An exclusive extended look at episode 2, titled “Children Of Arkham” is also happening. Since it’s an “exclusive” for people at PAX Prime, it might not pop up online right away. We’ll be sure to post it if it does.

I lived in Seattle for several years and went to several PAX Prime events. It was always a great time. If you can go, I highly recommend it. As for Batman, well episode one certainly seemed like the last 40 Telltale games. I’m not that excited for episode 2. But we’ll see where they go. PAX Prime runs from Saturday September 2nd to September 5th. You can get more info about the event at the official website.
