Two New Killer Croc Figures

Two Killer Croc Statues both for serious fans, but one arguably more so than the other….

Though not necessarily one of Batman’s top enemies, Killer Croc is a long-running favorite DC villain for many. The alligator-man finally got his big screen debut in this year’s Suicide Squad film. Even if he was vastly underutilized, he looked pretty cool.

And now Killer Croc fans will have their choice between not one but two very nicely detailed figures of Waylon Jones. Neither is cheap, but one is way more expensive.

The first figure is based on the character’s appearance from Suicide Squad and available from DC Collectibles for a slightly hefty $154.95. It pretty much looks like he does in the movie. If you were a big fan of Suicide Squad and wanted detailed figures of all the characters, this would not be a bad choice. You can see one image of him in the featured pic, but via Gamespot we have a pretty decent gallery below for a better look. This figure is available for pre-order and will ship on September 15th:

The second is a much more premium figure. This one is from Sideshow Collectibles, known for their highly detailed but also super pricey figures. This Croc comes with a swappable head. One looks pretty much like the villain we know from the comics. The other is basically an alligator head to make him look even more like an alligator man. This is also available for pre-order, but costs $520 and also won’t ship until late next year. Though that would give you ample time to pay for it in installments. I do find it curious that Sideshow doesn’t have their own super expensive take on Croc from Suicide Squad. They have figures for Joker, Deadshot and Harley. In fact two Suicide Squad Joker figures. The DC Collectible one is fine. But if you wait and have the money, odds are Sideshow Collectibles will announce their own Suicide Squad Killer Croc figure sooner or later.
