Fathom Events is giving you the chance to see Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders on the big screen!

Fathom Events showing The animated adaptation of The Killing Joke was a phenomenal success. I was hoping it would lead to future DC animated films getting similar showings in theaters and that looks to be the case. Batman: Return Of The  Caped Crusaders is indeed getting a one-night showing in theaters courtesy of Fathom Events.

Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders will get a theatrical showing on Monday, October 10th. It will be shown in 700 select theaters across the U.S., with several showings on that day. You can get times and the theaters the movie will be playing at on the official Fathom Events website.

But that’s not all! In addition to the film itself, movie goers will get to see a special featurette. Titled “Those Dastardly Desperados”, it will explore Bat-villains and how they became pop culture icons.

This is just one of many ways you can see the return of Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar in their classic roles from the 1960s Batman TV series. The film will have it’s premiere at this year’s New York City Comic Con on Thursday, October 6th. Then it release on Digital HD on October 11th, which is just one day after the One-night only theatrical showing. So even if you can’t see it in theaters you won’t have to wait long to check it out. And finally if you want to rent the film or own it physically, it will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD November 1st. I just realized I will be on vacation in Orlando for the physical November release, but I will try and get a review out sometime that week anyways. So keep an eye out for that.
