Arkham Knight Had An Arkham VR Easter Egg

This Arkham Knight Easter egg for Arkham VR wasn’t discovered until after the latter’s release

Rocksteady Games is known for putting a massive amount of hidden secrets in their games. Often one is put in there to tease the next game they are already hard at work on. Arkham Asylum had an easter egg teasing Arkham City and so on for Arkham Knight. I didn’t seem like there was any clues that the next and final Batman game from Rocksteady, Arkham VR, were contained within Arkham Knight. But that’s only because like many clever and subtle Easter eggs, no one put it together until after the game had already came out.

The Easter egg itself was discovered quite easily, actually. In the challenge map DLC for Wayne Manor, players were prompted to play a piano. This caused a wood paneling behind the piano to open and reveal a wall covered in notes.

But nobody knew what the board was referring to. Know that Arkham VR has indeed come out, people have been able to put together that the board in Arkham Knight teased the basic plotline for the PlayStation VR exclusive game. You can see it in video form below:

Of course, this makes one wonder if Rocksteady has hidden a clue about their next game in Arkham VR. Sure, they are reportedly done with Batman games and want to move on to something else, but that doesn’t mean they can’t tease their next non-Batman game in some subtle way. Of course much like this Easter egg someone may find it and not even know what they are looking at until Rocksteady’s next game is released. Arkham Knight is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Arkham VR is available exclusively for PlayStation VR.
