Jessica Chobot takes you on a tour of DC Entertainment’s offices

What is it like to work in DC Entertainment? surrounded by all the memorabilia, history and creativity of a company that has been making some of the best, most impactful and longest-lasting entertainment of the last 80-plus years? Well you can kind of get an idea by being taken on this video tour of the DC Entertainment office located in Burbank, California given by the Nerdist’s own Jessica Chobot!

In the video, Jessica Chobot talks to people such as the Executive Director of DC Collectibles, Jim Fletcher, who shows off his impressive Batwing based on Batman: The Animated Series along with a bunch of other figures and props. Then we also get a peek at a vault of rare memorabilia. Only two people in the whole company have key card access to this particular archive. Check out the video and learn lots of interesting trivia. Such as what is Batman’s favorite food? Alfred actually mentions it in a 70s Batman comic:

It’s only a 5 minute video with just two interviews, so I really feel like it’s only scratching the surface of things you’d find at DC Entertainment’s headquarters. I’m sure some stuff is super confidential and off limits, but some more exploration of memorabilia might’ve been nice. Or talking to a wider variety of people, maybe have some people with weird job titles explain their roles in the company or something. This seems like something that should probably should be at least 30 minutes. It doesn’t need to be a hard hitting expose, but a deep dive could certainly be a fascinating thing to check out. Regardless, it does seem like DC Entertainment would be a pretty cool place to work just being surrounded by all that history and memorabilia.
