Telltale’s Batman episodic game series has been chugging along quite nicely in terms of release, as there are already 3 episodes of the 5 episode series out already. Are you interested in trying out the game, but don’t want to plunk down the money for a full season before you have even tried the game? Sure you could buy one episode and try it out, but then if you’ll like it you’ll end up spending even more money than it would’ve been to just go ahead and get the season pass.

Well if you are a Steam user, you can try out the very first episode of Telltale’s Batman for free. That’s it, no catch, just can try it free. It is for a limited time only though. You have until November 7th to take advantage of this offer. So while you don’t have to act super quick, I wouldn’t let this opportunity to try out Telltale’s unique spin on the Guardian of Gotham for free pass you by.

This is a great idea to let people really try out this series for themselves. Hopefully console owners will get a chance to try out the first episode for free sometime soon as well. It’s actually not uncommon for Telltale to eventually just make the first episode of a game series free in the hopes it will hook players so they buy the full season.

Even if you try the first episode and absolutely love it though, I would highly advise to not buy it right away. Black Friday/Cyber Monday is only a few weeks from now, and I can virtually guarantee at least on Steam Telltale’s Batman will likely be on sale for a significant discount.
