New Justice League Dark Trailer!

Check out the new trailer for Justice League Dark!

When something is too weird for the regular Justice League, it’s time to get dark (holy hell that’s awful)! But yes, Justice League Dark is a team of superheroes with strange abilities who often deal with supernatural threats to our world. And they are getting their animated film debut sometime early next year (with a big screen version titled “Dark Universe” currently in development).

And a new trailer was dropped today which gives a little idea of the overall plot of Justice League Dark, and a whole lot more of the regular Justice League than you would think is in the movie. And frankly I have a problem with that, but  talk about it in detail further on in this article. So after watching that trailer, I’m actually more worried about this movie. It doesn’t help that the WB animated movies of late (like the last couple of years really) have been a very mixed bag. And much like Teen Titans vs. Justice League, this seems like a movie where they are afraid no one will give it a chance if they don’t shove their big guns like Batman, Superman & Wonder Woman in there no matter how little it makes sense or how awkwardly they fit.

At most, Batman should be involved. And only because he knows Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman, etc. Like the entire role of him and the rest of the Justice League should be they find something weird and supernatural, they don’t understand it, and Justice League Dark takes it from there with little to no involvement. Otherwise you just know the regular league will just seem like a waste of time. I hope I’m wrong, but DC’s animated track record over the last few years says otherwise. Justice League Dark is coming to Digital HD, Blu-Ray and DVD sometime in early 2017.
