Justice League: Green Lantern Corps In The Movie?
A member of the Green Lantern Corps is heavily rumored to appear in a key sequence in Justice League
Well before Batman v Superman even hit theaters, the Justice League appearing on the big screen had been teased with the tagline “unite the seven”. Six of the seven appeared in Batman v Superman (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg & Aquaman), but who was the seventh member of the league?
The two most obvious choices seemed to be either Martian Manhunter or Green Lantern as the seventh member of the Justice League. For awhile Green Lantern seemed to be almost a certainty, as nobody seemed to be mentioning J’onn J’onzz. But it was then clarified that while we would be getting a Green Lantern Corps movie in 2020, the chances of a Green Lantern in Justice League seemed slim at best. Nobody had been cast, and Warner Bros. seemed to want to put plenty of distance between this new DC movie universe and the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie that was a huge flop.
But while we may not get a Green Lantern as part of the team, it seems like they’ll be showing up in some capacity in the film. In a wrap-up of things we know so far about the Justice League movie, The Wrap slipped in a mention that we will see a member of the Green Lantern Corps in a key sequence.

Now this could be easily true and done a number of different ways. Most of the Green Lantern Corps are aliens. I could easily see a CGI Kilowog involved in an outer space sequence that involves Darkseid but has nothing to do with the league. This is a rumor but seems totally plausible and pretty likely, so look for some sort of Green Lantern appearance in the Justice League movie, which opens November 17th, 2017.
