Diamond Select’s Wave 4 of Gotham figures focuses on villains from season 2 of the show

The Diamond Select Gotham train just keeps on rolling. Today they announced their Wave 4 series of figures from the hit show. As you can see in the featured pic, this set includes three big villains from season 2 of the show, and the subtitle was “Rise Of The Villains”, so that’s pretty fitting for this particular wave of figures.

The villains shown are Azrael, who is actually resurrected former Mayor Theo Galavan who is convinced he is a mighty and invincible warrior from legend (hey, he’s only stopped by a rocket launcher, so that’s not too far off), Victor Fries aka Mr. Freeze and former head psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum Doctor Hugo Strange. You also get a GCPD jail cell (yay?). I wonder if they all can fit in there at the same time…

Here’s the official press release on the Wave 4 Gotham figures from Diamond Select:

Considering she’s the only villain still on the show from season 2, I’m a little annoyed that there’s no Tabitha figure. Hopefully that’ll be settled in a future wave. I feel these figures look pretty decent, like they resemble the characters decently, which is more than I could say about the Wave 1 & 2 figures. Hopefully that trend will continue.
