Yep, Captain Barnes became a full-time vigilante, and it was up to Jim to stop him. But the future commissioner had an uphill battle—no one really believed him, not even Harvey. It isn’t long before Barnes gets an inkling that Jim isn’t all that oblivious.

To see how much Jim really knew, Barnes invites him on a trip to question a known enforcer, Sugar. The questioning soon turns into murder when Barnes executes Sugar right in front of Jim. It’s now a cat-and-mouse game, with Jim framed for the murder.

Harvey, knowing Jim’s innocence, seeks out Lee’s help. The two are able to get the backing of the whole GCPD and go to Jim’s aid. In the final standoff, Jim is able to apprehend Barnes without killing him. The former Captain is now behind bars in Arkham Asylum, insanely proclaiming “guilty” on everything.

Meanwhile, Ed identifies Isabella’s body and goes into a deep depression upon seeing it. However, Penguin’s rousing speech to liven up Ed works a bit too well. Ed ends up going on a fervent investigation and comes to the mistaken conclusion that Butch killed Isabella as revenge for being framed.

Moving on to Ivy Pepper. The now grown woman steals an emerald which is later revealed to contain a key. With Bruce and Selina roped into this fiasco, the three are pursued by crossbow-wielding killers.

This week, we’ll see how Ed will carry out his revenge on Butch. We may also get some information as to what that key will open, and who’s behind the men chasing Bruce, Selina, and Ivy. Here’s the official synopsis:
