Gotham: Barbara Reveals The Truth To Ed
Edward learns the truth from Barbara in this clip from Gotham
Tomorrow is the last we’ll see of Gotham for several months, it’s the mid-season finale, titled Beware The Green-Eyed Monster”, and of course it’s referring to Mario Falcone, who can literally become a green-eyed monster thanks to being infected with Alice Tetch’s blood. But it hardly takes virulent blood to make somebody to desperate and dastardly things in a jealous rage.
Take poor Isabella. She was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Oswald was all ready to confess his feelings to Edward and she just happened to run into Ed and they connected instantly. Filled jealousy, Oswald repeatedly tried to sabotage the relationship, ultimately resorting to killing her and trying to make it look like a tragic accident.
However that didn’t work out. Ed was able to figure out that someone had Isabella killed, but who and why? At first he thought it was Butch, and Oswald was all too happy to point him at Butch and let things sort themselves out. Odds are Ed would kill Butch not believing a word he said and no one would be the wiser.
However, Butch has survived and Nygma knows he wasn’t the culprit. But who was? Ed is still searching for answers, believing it to be someone who might be looking to get at Gotham’s mayor through him. Then Barbara strolls in with a clue and an easy enough riddle. Check out the clip below:

The real Riddle is why Barbara is revealing this to Ed. Barbara and Penguin are at least sort of friends, hence why he hasn’t killed her several times this season alone. What happened to make her give Ed the information and her not at least blackmail Oswald with it? Find out on Monday when the mid-season finale of Gotham, “Beware The Green-Eyed Monster” airs on Fox!
