This week, The CW’s massive DC TV crossover event starts with Supergirl!

On Supergirl‘s “The Darkest Place” episode last week, Guardian was blamed for a murder committed by another vigilante while Kara went on a solo mission to free Mon-El from the clutches of Cadmus. And J’onn confronted M’gann, discovering her shocking secret.

Guardian has been making his mark as National City’s newest hero/vigilante (the term is subjective depending on who you’re talking to). When a new vigilante starts to kill past convicted felons, the blame is directed towards Guardian. The investigation to clear Guardian’s name leads Winn and Jimmy to discover an ex-Navy SEAL as the murderous vigilante.

Kara is secretly contacted by Cadmus and goes on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El. The meeting is a trap to collect Kara’s blood. She soon faces off with Cyborg Superman—who is the original Hank Henshaw. But Mon-El and Kara get some help in their escape from Jeremiah Danvers—Alex’s father. When the DEO finally raids Cadmus’s current location, Alex disappointingly discovers that the nefarious group had already closed shop and left.

Meanwhile, J’onn was receiving strange hallucinations and visions from his past. A confrontation with M’gann reveals that she’s a White Martian. The life-saving blood transfusion she gave to him is now rewriting J’onn’s DNA—slowly transforming him into a White Martian.

This week, Supergirl partners with Lena Luthor to face off with Cadmus when the evil organization creates a virus targeting all alien life. And Barry and Cisco ask Supergirl for her help when their Earth is invaded by the Dominators—kicking off the DC TV crossover event!
