By Steve Lam
This week on Arrow’s Season 5 mid-season finale, Prometheus starts to go after each team member one-by-one.
Last week on Arrow‘s “Invasion!” episode, the show celebrated its 100th episode with a heartbreaking trip that showed the team’s desire to regain what they’ve lost.

Little did they know, after they were abducted by the Dominators, each hero was placed under a dream state. In this fantasy world, Oliver and Thea’s parents never died; Oliver was about to get married to the love of his life —Laurel Lance—John Diggle was the Green Arrow; and Sara and Ray never led a double-life as superheroes.
When each team member started to question their perfect world, the hallucination started to fall apart. Soon after, they awoke to find themselves on the Dominator ship. The team quickly escapes after stealing a Dominator shuttle and taking off.
In the real world, Team Arrow and Cisco work to find their kidnapped comrades. After hacking some alien tech and discovering that the Dominators are using signals similar to the Torah’s numerology, they discover that Oliver and company are in outer space.
In a last minute save, the Waverider appears and uses a tractor beam to pull the team out of danger. They later discover that they were being psychologically probed for ways to exterminate metahumans. And then It was on to the finale of the crossover in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Yes, it was quite a week.
This week, Arrow goes back to more human problems in Star City where the team continues to deal with Prometheus—and the identity of the villain. Here’s the official synopsis:
“What We Leave Behind”
"PROMETHEUS MAKES A DEADLY MOVE AGAINST OLIVER AND THE TEAM — After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow’s secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver’s past."
