DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2, Episode 8 Synopsis: “The Chicago Way!”

This week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the Legends are caught in a trap set up by their past enemies who have now joined forces.

Last week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s “Invasion!” episode, the Legends teamed up with Green Arrow, the Flash, and Supergirl to fight against the Dominators. They soon discovered that the Dominators wanted Earth to give up Barry or face the consequences of a metahuman bomb.

So why Barry? Years ago, the Dominators came to an agreement with the US government: the aliens will cease their invasion if all metahumans are kept in check. The government agreed, but Barry’s time-traveling ways and the creation of Flashpoint broke that truce.

Barry was happy to sacrifice himself for the good of humanity, but his friends weren’t so easily convinced. They stood their ground and went up against the alien invasion. In the end, the Legends and the rest of the team defeated the Dominators.

This week, the the exciting mid-season finale has the Legends returning to their main objective—fixing aberrations in the timeline. However, it’s now their enemies’ turn to do a bit of teaming up of their own. Here’s the official synopsis:

“The Chicago Way”

"LEGION OF DOOM — When a new Time Aberration is discovered by the Legends, they find themselves headed to 1927 Chicago. The Legends quickly realize that they have been set up by Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and the newest member of the Legion of Doom, Malcolm Merlyn (guest start John Barrowman). While everyone is trying to help fix what they think is the mission, Jax (Franz Drameh) encourages a reluctant Stein (Victor Garber) to share his secret with the other Legends. Stein is taken captive and Sara (Caity Lotz) must make the tough choice of either stopping the Legion of Doom or saving Stein. Meanwhile, Rory (Dominic Purcell) gets an unexpected visitor and is not sure how to handle it."
