Preview: Suicide Squad #8
Suicide Squad #8 leads directly into DC’s mega crossover event Justice League vs. Suicide Squad!
I think you’d hardly call most of the inmates at Belle Reve penitentiary sane. Especially the members who are part of Task Force X aka the Suicide Squad. But there’s crazy and then there’s foaming at the mouth stark raving kill everybody in your light sight crazy. And that’s what’s going on at the prison thanks to the mysterious Black Vault that the squad retrieved. Harley Quinn is so crazy, the vault had the opposite effect on her, making Mrs. Quinn at least relatively sane, so she’s pretty much the only hope to save the day. Moreover, General Zod is being kept is stasis, but it’s really not holding. And a member of the squad thought dead is definitely alive, but not in the way you’d think.
