Preview: Batman #13
The fifth and final chapter of “I Am Suicide” takes place in this week’s Batman #13
Batman formed his own Suicide Squad of villains in an attempt to snatch Psycho Pirate from under Bane’s watch from his own prison island of Santa Prisca in order to cure Gotham Girl. This plan hasn’t gone particularly well for the world’s greatest detective. His team is in tatters, he was betrayed by Catwoman, and is held captive and physically broken by Bane. Will the Caped Crusader be able to survive, much less defeat, the Man Who Broke The Bat, and be able to cure Gotham Girl? Check out this synopsis & gallery preview of the fifth and final chapter of “I Am Suicide” in Batman #13 below:
"“I AM SUICIDE” conclusion! Batman and the remains of his team come face to face with Bane and the Psycho-Pirate in a final battle at Santa Prisca—and learn whether this was truly a suicide mission!"

Whatever the conclusion of “I Am Suicide”, the Dark Knight is hardly finished the newly re-invigorated, venom-free but more dangerous than ever Bane. The name of the next story arc is literally “I Am Bane”, so I can easily see the Dark Knight not escaping at all and this going right into the next arc. Batman could be spending quite some time on Santa Prisca as a guest of Bane. How would he possibly escape then? It’s totally possible that he convinces Catwoman to pull a double cross on Bane in that time. Tom King has also hinted that Bane isn’t necessarily just a villain these days. More of Doctor Doom type who is mostly concerned with his little corner of the world he holds reign over. Maybe Bane is trying to teach the Dark Knight a very hard lesson and will let him go after he thinks he’s learned it. Only way to find out is to read Batman #13, out this Wednesday.
