Nightwing must face the deadly Orca in Nightwing #12, check out a preview!

Nightwing has returned to his home of Bludhaven after a lengthy absence, but almost immediately he’s forced into some action. And trying to prove the innocence of one of his longtime enemies no less. Somebody has framed Gorilla Grimm for murder and Nightwing needs to prove his innocence.

But Batman’s former protege has made plenty of enemies in Bludhaven, and he runs into Orca and her Killer Whale gang before he can get anything done about proving Gorilla Grimm didn’t kill anybody (well, recently anyways). Check out a synopsis and gallery preview for Nightwing #12 below:

"“BLUDHAVEN” part three! The body count in Blüdhaven continues to rise! Nightwing will have to team up with the Run-Offs to discover who the murderer is and clear the name of the Defacer. But before they can even begin they cross paths with the killer, Orca, and her Whaler Gang.Nightwing #12DC ComicsWritten by: Tim SeeleyArt by: Marcus ToColors by: Chris SotomayorLetters by: Carlos M. It’s definitely interesting to see that characters that were more of a joke in the past such as Orca have been given a more serious makeover in the post-rebirth era. The synopsis mentions the “Run-Offs”, which Orca is supposed to be a part of along with Stallion, Thrilldevil, Giz,Mouse and Gorilla Grimm. So saying that Nightwing teams up with them means that he and Orca must come to some kind of temporary truce and understanding. Though any team comprised of a bunch of villains like this probably won’t be too trustworthy for very long.

And while Dick Grayson will continue to travel the world thwarting evil plots and organizations, something will keep bringing him back to Bludhaven. You might even find out what that is by the end of this current arc, so be sure to check out Nightwing #12 when it come out next Wednseday, January 4th.
