3. Jem & The Holograms #11–21
Coming in third is Jem & The Holograms #11-21 by IDW Publishing. Kelly Thompson had another fantastic year on this amazing revamp, with great art by Sophie Campbell, Jen Bartel, and Meredeith McClaren. If I am totally honest, Jem peaked this year by the summer with the utterly jaw dropping conclusion to the “Dark Jem” arc that involved the evil AI, Silica. However, the rest of the year’s issues have been fun in dealing with the fallout, as well as the new Stingers band!
