Behind The Bricks features the cast of Lego Batman talking about the upcoming film…

It’s almost here guys, the first must-see superhero movie of 2017, The Lego Batman Movie, opens in just two weeks on February 10th! I’m only sort of joking, but if this movie is even half as good and surprising and fun as it’s predecessor, The Lego Movie, it will easily be one of the cinematic highlights of the year.

And this “Behind The Bricks” featurette just helps cement that The Lego Batman Movie will most likely be a very fun time. This video features the cast of the movie, as in the actual characters in the film, talking about the movie. You have Alfred (Ralph Fiennes), Barbara Gordon (Rosario Dawson), Joker (Zach Galifianakis) and of course the Dark Knight himself, Batman (Will Arnett). The explain what they all think the movie is really about, and of course they all think it’s about something different. Check out the video below:

One interesting thing this video gives away that I don’t think has been previously revealed is that Commissioner James Gordon is either dead or retired (I’m guessing dead since nobody was cast for that role to my knowledge) and young Barbara Gordon is the GCPD commissioner. Certainly not the first time this idea has been floated in some form or another in various DC projects, but in most of those she is way older, like too old to still be Batgirl but can still make a difference as Commissioner.

This may be the main cast of the film, but in The Lego Batman Movie, you’ll see pretty much all of his deadliest villains and closest… people he tolerates (he refuses to admit he has friends). The Lego Batman Movie opens in theaters February 10th.
