This week on The Flash, Earth-19’s Gypsy arrives to arrest H.R. Wells for illegal inter-dimensional travel.

The Flash returned from its mid-season hiatus with the premiere episode “Borrowing Problems From the Future.” Barry’s head wasn’t in the right place after being thrown into the future and seeing Savitar murder Iris.

At the start of the episode, Barry tried to carry the burden himself by preventing current events from happening. All of this resulted in his hesitance to apprehend Central City’s newest villain—Plunder. Yeah, that guy was kind of a throwaway baddie-of-the-week, but we all knew the writer’s needed someone to help convey Barry’s conflict.

With Wally West, newly minted as Kid Flash, Barry and his protege sped around the city, using it as an initial training ground. When Wally saved Barry’s life from Plunder, there was a lack of appreciation. In fact, the reaction was more of a berating.

Barry finally revealed the truth to Iris and, eventually, the team. But this is Team Flash we’re talking about. Nothing gets in the way of this family. From now until Iris’s possible doomsday, the they will do everything and anything in their power to prevent her death. To make things a bit better, Julian also joined the team—that’s one more genius added to an already impressive brain trust.

Things looked to be on the up and up, until the end scene, where we saw a mysterious woman enter from another Earth (well, Earth-19 to be exact) to search for HR. This week, we’ll see Gypsy go up against Team Flash in order to apprehend their caffeine-loving friend. Here’s the official synopsis:

“Dead or Alive”

"DC COMICS’ GYPSY ARRIVES ON EARTH-1 – H.R.’s (Tom Cavanagh) past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out inter-dimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders but when Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) find out that H.R.’s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead."
