J’onn has been tracking M’gann—and not because he’s suspicious of her—because he’s now being overprotective. A White Martian is after her and J’onn wants to make sure she’s safe. M’gann doesn’t think J’onn’s actions are necessary, but that notion is soon proved wrong.
M’gann learns that her former mate, Armek, is the assassin given the task to kill her. J’onn, taking all precautions, relocates M’gann to the DEO. However, Armek uses that opportunity to disguise himself, entering the building.
A lockdown traps Armek with the team. With no way of telling who was who, M’gann proposes using fire to reveal their true identities, which soon exposes a fake Winn. When the team finds the real Winn, they quickly learn that there are two White Martians among them. The plan for the White Martians is to not only kill M’gann, but to destroy the DEO by detonating the nuclear reactor that powers the building.
In the end, Alex, Kara, J’onn, and M’gann defeat the White Martians, and Winn is able to stop the reactor’s meltdown. After a heartfelt goodbye, M’gann returns to Mars to find other White Martians who, like her, believe in abandoning their genocidal ways.
This week, Metallo breaks out of prison and frees Lillian Luthor. Fingers point to Lena, but Kara is the only one who doesn’t believe it. Here’s the official synopsis:
“Luthors”
"LENA IS ARRESTED – After Metallo (guest star Frederick Schmidt) breaks out of prison and frees Lillian Luthor (guest star Brenda Strong), the police blame Lena (guest star Katie McGrath) for his escape and arrest her. Despite overwhelming evidence, Kara (Melissa Benoist) refuses to believe her friend is guilty and fights to clear Lena’s name. Flashbacks reveal how Lena came to be a Luthor. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together."
