The “Avengers: Infinity War” Teaser Video Will Make You Cry

“Avengers: Infinity War” promises to be an insane amount of Marvel characters in one movie. Production just started and already we have an awesome video!

Avengers: Infinity War just started production down in Atlanta a few weeks ago. And it’s one of the most hotly anticipated comic book movies of… am I allowed to say our generation? Or is that overstepping?

Look, what Marvel has done with its cinematic universe is pretty impressive. Their “stumbling block” movies still have had decently positive reviews. By the time Infinity War comes out, it will have been eleven years and eighteen movies since Iron Man. Eighteen movies!

And while the MCU may not have started this way initially, nearly every single one of these movies has led up to this point. Avengers: Infinity War is going to be absolutely insane.

So it should come as no surprise that this first video gives you a serious case of goosebumps. Check it out below:

Can I just say that seeing Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Star-Lord standing onscreen together brought tears to my eyes? I mean, you know it’s going to happen. They aren’t even talking in character or anything (Spider-Man’s not British!), but it’s still just… it’s something else that we’ve gotten to this point.

Kevin Feige explains his brilliance, touches on why they did Civil War before Infinity War, and confirms that the Guardians of the Galaxy will finally meet the Avengers in this film.

There’s also talk of Thanos and how he’ll be the culmination of evil, this big bad. We’re well aware of Marvel’s underdeveloped villain problem, so this isn’t that hard of a feat to overcome.

And that concept art of Thor fighting alongside Rocket Raccoon. Why must we have to wait another year for this?!

You might be fatigued by comic book movies at this point. There’s no denying that the market is saturated, by Marvel, by DC, by FOX. Maybe Doctor Strange didn’t do it for you. Maybe you don’t care about this third reboot of Spider-Man in the last decade coming up in July. We don’t blame you one bit. Keeping up with these movies is exhausting.

But damn if it isn’t impressive that Marvel is going to attempt to throw all of its characters into one gigantic movie. It’ll be one heck of a ride.

Avengers: Infinity War rushes into theaters May 4, 2018.
