This week on Arrow, Vigilante goes after Oliver Queen.

Last week on Arrow‘s “The Sin-Eater” episode, three criminals that Team Arrow had put away joined forces to search for Tobias Church’s stash. Meanwhile, the ACU was given a tip that the Emerald Archer was responsible for Billy Malone’s death.

What do you get when you have China White, Cupid, and Liza Warner being transported on the same bus? You get a daring escape and a team-up with one specific goal in mind—find Tobias Church’s money.

As the baddies started to hunt down clues to the big payoff, they were obstructed by the one person who could stop them—the Green Arrow. However, our hero’s job was made that much more harder when an anonymous tip informed the ACU that the Green Arrow was responsible for Billy Malone’s death.

The Green Arrow now had to regain the trust of the ACU, and he could only do it as Oliver Queen—imploring the SCPD to trust the hero (him) that he was tricked. In the final standoff, the ACU worked with the Green Arrow and they all apprehended the perpetrators.

However, all was not well. In order to stop Susan Williams from exposing Oliver as the Green Arrow, Thea planted false evidence that Susan plagiarized her articles—causing her to be fired and permanently discredited. Thea definitely crossed the line and Oliver was extremely upset.

On top of the disappointing actions of his sister, Oliver soon learned that he was being impeached. This week, Oliver will fight those accusations and also fight Vigilante. Here’s the official synopsis from The CW:

“Fighting Fire with Fire”

"VIGILANTE ATTACKS MAYOR QUEEN — Oliver (Stephen Amell) faces his biggest challenge yet as mayor. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) continues down her dark path with Helix. After Vigilante attacks Oliver while he’s acting as the mayor, Diggle (David Ramsey) leads the team in a mission to stop Vigilante once and for all."
