This week on Supergirl, Kara and Alex go up against Cadmus and Jeremiah.

Last week on Supergirl‘s “Homecoming” episode, Jeremiah Danvers was rescued from Cadmus. However, Mon-El had his suspicions about the Danvers patriarch’s return—and for good reason.

The DEO and Supergirl intercept a truck holding unknown cargo. They soon discover that Jeremiah was the one being transported. They bring him back to the DEO and everyone is elated to see his return—all except for Mon-El, who was not willing to take things at face value.

During a family reunion dinner, Mon-El bluntly expresses his suspicions. This gets him kicked out and causes a rift between him and Kara. Mon-El later convinces Winn to help him in exposing Jeremiah’s true agenda.

The two soon discover that Jeremiah hacked into the DEO’s mainframe. When presented with the evidence, Jeremiah claims that he was curious to see what his daughters have been up to all these years. He temporarily regains everyone’s trust, but now there’s Kara and Alex are divided.

Jeremiah, wanting to help any way he can, assists the DEO in tracking down Cadmus’s latest weapon—a fusion nuclear bomb that was supposedly powered by energy harnessed from Supergirl’s heat vision.

Tracking the bomb to a warehouse, Alex and her team soon discover that it was a ruse created for the real plan. Mon-El was right all along. Jeremiah, who’s cybernetically enhanced, is working for Cadmus and has downloaded the location of every known alien on Earth.

In an emotional showdown, Alex is unable to take down Jeremiah—allowing him to escape with the information. This week, Kara and Alex go toe-to-toe with Cadmus, attempting to save all of Earth’s aliens from its wrath. Here’s the official synopsis from The CW:

“Exodus”
