This week on The Flash, Barry and Gypsy are at odds when she costs him his only opportunity to learn Savitar’s true identity.

Last week on The Flash‘s “Duet” episode, Supergirl made a crossover into the Scarlet Speedster’s universe. The two soon found themselves in a musical “prison” where they had to finish the script in order to get out.

Picking up from Supergirl‘s “Star-Crossed” episode, Mon-El brings an unconscious Kara to Earth-1, hoping that Team Flash can help them. Barry, after the Music Meister “whammies” him also, discovers that he and Kara are now sharing a musical world.

People close to them start to show up as characters in the story, and the two soon learn that this world’s versions of Mon-El and Iris are having an affair in the vein of West Side Story. As their respective families disapprove of the relationship, an impending mob war brews.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Vibe, J’onn, and Mon-El discover that the Music Meister is siphoning Kara’s and Barry’s powers. The three catch him and place him in STAR Labs’ holding cell.

Back in the strange dream world. Kara and Barry are literally caught in the crossfire of the two warring families. Growing desperate, real-world Iris and Mon-El convince Cisco to vibe them into the dream world. Once there, the two see their loved ones dying. As Iris forgives Barry, and Kara forgives Mon-El, all four are transported back.

The Music Meister makes his escape and reveals his true plan. He wasn’t after their powers, and is definitely not a villain. He wanted to teach them a lesson so that the two couples can mend their differences. As mysterious as he appeared, he quickly vanishes.

This week, Barry is back on his stopping-Savitar-mission. After capturing someone who’s able to reveal the God of Speed’s identity, Gypsy interferes and costs Barry that chance. Here’s the official synopsis from The CW.

Here’s the official synopsis from The CW:

“Abra Kadabra”

"DC COMICS’ CHARACTER ABRA KADABRA VISITS CENTRAL CITY – The Flash (Grant Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side."
