The Marvel Netflix Universe rolls on, with Jessica Jones to reportedly begin production on April 10, 2017.

If you are a superhero, it’s expected that you should have quite a busy schedule—you know, saving the world and all. However, it seems that this is also the case for those involved in the making of each Marvel/Netflix series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, The Defenders). Despite production for The Defenders wrapping up just a few weeks ago, their work is not done just yet.

According to a report from On Location Vacations, a site which covers production details for shows and their locations, Jessica Jones Season 2 is set to begin production next Monday, April 10, 2017.

The report states that the production will be set at “West 101st Street and Broadway, NYC.” Fans of the show will recognize this to be the location used in Season 1 for Jessica’s apartment and her business, Alias Investigations.

With The Punisher also under production at the moment, we are definitely not deprived of Netflix superhero content in the near future. Even with the lukewarm reception of the recently released Iron Fist, fans are still satiated with some superhero content. On top of that, it provided a final link and segue into The Defenders.

Jessica Jones Season 1 received high praise from critics, earning a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, as the show introduced us to a gritty story of Krysten Ritter’s character.

After an accident at an early age, Jones received powers to which she uses to her advantage whilst conducting her private investigations. The story takes a dramatic turn after the introduction of Kilgrave, spectacularly played by David Tennant.
