Agents Of SHIELD Season 4, Episode 18 Synopsis: “No Regrets”

This week on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, the team looks into the reasons behind Fitz’s loyalty to Hydra.

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD‘s “Identity and Change” episode, the team sought out Radcliffe in order to find a way out of the Framework. As Fitz also tracked him down, the team learned that their former teammate has now changed into someone unrecognizable.

It was a very heartbreaking episode as we saw the loss of two lives—one literally, and the other figuratively. Daisy and Jemma are finally teamed up with SHIELD, now in shambles after Hydra’s world takeover.

With the Framework learning about the secret exit, the team had to find another way out. They soon found Radcliffe, living a somewhat happy life with Agnes Kitsworth—who had no recollection of her time before the Framework’s world.

Meanwhile, Mac was seen in his own bit of fantasy—a doting father to a daughter he had lost in the real world. He wasn’t the Mac we were familiar with. He feared Hydra and did everything to keep a low profile so that his daughter would be safe.

When he’s brought in for questioning, May saw it as an opportunity to use him. While Daisy interrogated him, he pretended to know about the real world and his real identity. This was enough to fish Daisy out into the open—putting her on Hydra’s most wanted list.

Back in Radcliffe’s area of the world, the team learned that the scientist was also dead in the real world. It wasn’t long before Madame Hydra and her lackey Fitz paid Radcliffe a visit. As the team watched from a distance, Fitz coldly executed Agnes to teach Radcliffe a lesson. And a devastated Jemma couldn’t believe her eyes.

This week, the team searches for the reasons behind Fitz’s turn to evil. And the truth could destroy the already fragile SHIELD. Here’s the official synopsis from ABC:
