May the 4th: FandangoNOW offers Rogue One promotion

For Star Wars fans, May 4 is a national holiday. For not only is it the fourth day of the month of May, it’s “May the 4th Be With You,” a nod to the famous saying of the legendary Jedi. Star Wars fans all over the world celebrate Star Wars Day in their own special ways, and Fandango would like to help with a special promotion through their premium streaming site, FandangoNOW.

For one day only, fans can stream the 2016 hit movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story for only $4. Rogue One is the tale of Jyn Erso, who forms a team of unlikely heroes to steal the plans of the Death Star in hopes of finding a way to destroy it. Rogue One is set before Star Wars: A New Hope, and it provides a look at the universe before Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. There are several cameos from well-known members of the Star Wars pantheon in the movie, and though it was meant to be a standalone film, the consensus from fans is that Rogue One is a big hit.
