Batman and Harley Quinn, the newest animated feature from Warner Bros, will debut at San Diego Comic Con on July 21.

Fan favorite Harley Quinn was born as a character in Batman: The Animated Series and she will return to her animated roots in the upcoming Warner Bros animated release Batman and Harley Quinn. The new film will premiere on July 21 at San Diego Comic Con ahead of its August 15/29 (digital/Blu-ray) wide release.

This epic pairing of Batman and Harley Quinn working side-by-side along with Dick Grayson as Nightwing features the return of original voice actors Kevin Conroy and Loren Lester as Batman and Nightwing, along with Harley Quinn newcomer Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory). Together, this unlikely team will take on Poison Ivy and The Floronic Man as they try to heal Mother Earth. While it sounds like a noble thing to do, “healing” the planet will also wipe out the human race. It’s up to Batman, Harley Quinn and Nightwing to stop them.

Warner Bros has been premiering their animated features in Ballroom 20 at SDCC since the release of 2007’s Superman: Doomsday. As with other SDCC premieres, Batman and Harley Quinn will feature a panel discussion with the cast and crew following the screening.
