14. The Incredible Hulk (2008)

There are actually things to like about this big screen interpretation of the Jade Giant. The principal cast members give solid performances and it’s arguably a more exhilarating and interesting affair than Ang Lee’s attempt back in 2003. Also, if you’re a fan of the original television series, some of the elements of that show are present here.

Unfortunately, these things don’t make up for the flawed script and lack of character dimension in a film that feels more disconnected from the rest of the universe as time goes on. We know that Hulk is a different character to translate to cinema, and this only proves that point.
