Her Cape 100 Things to Know About SDCC continues with #86: Twin Peaks’ first trip to San Diego Comic Con

Cult classic television show Twin Peaks is making its debut at San Diego Comic Con with a panel presentation, autograph session and sneak peek at the show’s Part 11 ahead of its air date. All of this, plus exclusive merchandise, is available to Twin Peaks fans at SDCC.

Though the Twin Peaks phenomenon began over 25 years ago, SDCC wasn’t what it is now. Big time networks and movie studios didn’t have the same presence back then as they do now, so what better way to celebrate a seminal classic like Twin Peaks than to feature the show and its big return in the big daddy of SDCC panel locations: Hall H.

Lost’s Damon Lindelof will moderate a panel on Friday, July 21 at 2:45pm comprised of the cast and crew. Some of the cast members scheduled to appear include Kyle MacLachlan, Tim Roth, Dana Ashbrook, Kimmy Robertson, Everett McGill, Matthew Lillard, James Marshall, Don Murray, and Naomi Watts.

The cast will move from the Hall H panel to an exclusive autograph signing at the Entertainment Earth booth (#2343) from 4-5pm.

At 10pm there will be an advanced screening of Twin Peaks Part 11 in Room 6A.

This is a must see for Twin Peaks fans who will be able to see the cast in person during their first appearance at SDCC. Keep in mind that Friday is a packed schedule for Hall H, with The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones leading up to Twin Peaks. With that in mind, expect long waits. Hall H will be full first thing in the morning and since the room isn’t cleared between panels, there’s no guarantee that waiting in the standby line will be good enough. You might need to get yourself a darn good cup of coffee and do some Hall H overnight camping to get in.
