Harley Quinn #25 is sheer perfection

Harley Quinn #25 is perfection. From Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner’s sharp as a tack writing to the beautiful look of the book, it’s a brilliant tour de force that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to glorious finish.

There’s no better way to celebrate a milestone for Harley than with a party. In Harley Quinn #25, not only does Harley get the surprise of her life when the tables are turned on her, she and her friends are also ambushed by an elite group of assassins hired to take her out. Who sent the assassins? None other than Madison Berkowitz.

With so many great cameos, ample cleavage, blistering one-liners and didn’t-see-that-coming twists, it’s hard to pin down one top moment. That’s what makes this book so great. We get to see Harley, her crew, the Gang, the Roller Dolls, some familiar faces from Gotham and all of her animal friends in one book. Oh, and Power Girl. Power Girl shows up for one of the coolest moments of all. It’s sheer perfection.

Issue #25 arrives just as Harley Quinn gets ready to take over Batman Day 2017 on September 23. It’s her 25th anniversary, after all, and that means Harley is going to get tangled up in storylines across the DC Comics universe.

The penultimate chapter in the “Harley Loves Joker” story at the end of Harley Quinn #25 will have fans smiling as Harley’s best laid plans go awry, and then they go awry again. It’s a great lead-in for Harley Loves Joker #1 coming soon.
