An exclusive unboxing of Jada Toys’ Nano Metalfigs “DC Comics” 10-Pack which includes a variety of DC’s most famous characters.

More from Collectibles

Jada Toys’ Metals Die Cast line has been a hit with collectors. In the DC realm, they’ve offered a variety of products tied to past and present film franchises: “Batman & Bamobile,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Suicide Squad,” and “Women of DC.”

The famous toy company has now returned with their latest offering: Nano Metalfigs. The figures are small die-cast metal sculptures sold in single packs and bundles. The company also has display cases called Nano Scenes that can be used to house these collectibles — one of them is a diorama modeled after the Batcave.

Bam Smack Pow recently met with Jada Toys at SDCC 2017 and got a preview of this new line of collectibles. Today, we have an exclusive unboxing and review of their “DC Comics” themed Nano Metalfigs.

Nano Metalfigs: “DC Comics” 10-Pack Packaging

All figures are housed in a molded plastic shell that fits inside an outer box. The back of the box shows other figures in this line.

The Heroes

DC heroes in the 10-pack include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and the Element Man. Each figure is well-painted with the primary colors of its respective character. The poses vary from standing still to a frozen moment of action, as seen with the Flash.

The paint, due to its sheen, accentuates the “metal” nature of the figure — with some characters sporting almost a sparkle-type gloss. The pedestals are relatively large and stable, allowing the figures to freely stand on their own.

Though the figures are small, various details are still included. You can see evidence of this from the emblems of Superman, Batman, the Flash, and Green Lantern.

The Villains

Like the heroes, the DC villains are very detailed and sport an attractive paint job. The most impressive figure out of this collection is Mr. Freeze. From his facial features to his ice gun, Jada Toys has once again captured the character’s essence perfectly.

Both Two-Face and Killer Croc sport very bright paint jobs, allowing them to look like they popped right out of the pages of the comics. Each figure also has a unique pose which further enhances their comic book qualities.

The best part about these figures is the price — each figure costs less than a dollar! You can buy them individually or in various bundle packs (as seen here in this review). Displayed as a group, they’re definitely a fun conversation piece.

Jada Toys has created another attractive and compelling line of collectibles with its Nano Metalfigs offering. Collectors on a budget can acquire multiple figures and complete a whole set without breaking the bank. Like the Metals Die Cast offering, this is something every fan should look into!

Jada Toys Nano Metalfigs are currently available for purchase at Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
