Game of Thrones season seven finale preview

Previewing what’s sure to be one of the best season finales in the Game of Thrones series.

Wait, wait, wait.  Its the season finale already?

Seven Hells!  Why are there only seven episodes?  It’s not fair!

*collects myself*.  Anyway.

The promo for Sunday’s seventh season finale of Game of Thrones reveals footage of a superpower summit between Team Cersei, Team Dany, and Team Jon and Team Jonerys (yes, I went there, because they’re going there, AND I TOTALLY APPROVE).

The momentous conference will be held at the Dragonpit (a cavernous building atop Rhaenys’ Hill in King’s Landing that once housed Targaryen dragons) and involves several of the show’s main characters, including Bronn (Jerome Flynn), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Jon Sn‒Targaryen (Kit Harington), Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), and the current ruler of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

Notably, however, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is nowhere to be seen in neither the trailer nor the promo images below.

Where art thou, Daenerys?

I guess the main question is, will the Houses call an armistice in their war for the Iron Throne and fight the Night King and his army of wights together?  Well, we’ll be finding out together since HBO won’t release screeners for us press.  (Insert face with rolling eyes emoji here.)
