After The Defenders, how do all of the Marvel Netflix shows rank?

The Marvel Netflix universe has taken off over the past two years. It started in 2015 with two series, which grew into four and, by August 2017, turned into five. There will even be a sixth series that debuts near the end of this year.

Daredevil began this Marvel Netflix madness in 2015. Charlie Cox introduced the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen to the small screen and transformed into the red suit-wearing hero of the city. This is the only Marvel Netflix series to air two seasons.

Jessica Jones was the other Marvel Netflix show of 2015. Starring Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, she used her private eye skills to solve crimes and face off with the evil Kilgrave. Season 2 of Jessica Jones will air sometime in 2018.

Luke Cage was the third show to come about. It debuted in the fall of 2016, with Mike Colter as Luke Cage, the Hero of Harlem. Viewers learned of his origins and how he transformed into a bulletproof hero.

In March 2017, Iron Fist was the final piece to the puzzle. This had Finn Jones become Danny Rand and fight for his company, Rand Industries.

In August, these four shows came together for The Defenders, a show that received nearly one year’s worth of hype. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist teamed to save New York City and prevent the Hand was overruling it.

All five shows received its praises and criticisms, which goes for just about any other TV program. So, with all of them in the books, let’s rank them, and before the sixth one, The Punisher, arrives on Netflix. What show takes the mantle as the best of Marvel’s Netflix shows so far?
