4. Vigilante

Speaking of Vigilante, what if Emerson is the man behind this character?

Vigilante debuted shortly into season 5 of Arrow as someone potentially affected by season 4’s Genesis Day. He was also involved in events to stop villains that patrolled Star City.

However, Vigilante went after Oliver and Team Arrow in the middle of season 5. This came when Oliver’s limo was attacked as one of the villain’s multiple attempts to kill the Mayor of Star City. After a try at using a sniper (but failing) to kill Queen, Vigilante disappeared for the rest of the season.

On Arrow or any other CW superhero show, if a masked villain shows up, they’re not just going to depart without being revealed first. So, look for Vigilante to show up in season 6.

Emerson could be Vigilante who may not be a primary villain, but part of a group that wants to kill Oliver. That may not be as the Longbow Hunters, but people that all have a vengeance against the old Vigilante of Star City.

Would Arrow use Emerson to reintroduce a character that already appeared on the show, though? This actor’s role received plenty of hype through August and into September, so I’d think they go in another direction. However, since Vigilante’s identity wasn’t revealed, it can’t be ruled out as his role.
