5 reasons Suicide Squad 2 should happen

1. They have The Joker

There were many missed opportunities with Suicide Squad, one of the biggest ones was how the film utilized the character of the Joker and how little he was featured in the movie. Many fans were excited to see this new version of the character after the gigantic success of Heath Ledger’s portrayal in the Dark Knight. Then the filmmakers cast Jared Leto, the extremely talented musician and Academy Award winning actor to play that part. The Joker’s aesthetic looked unique and frightening. But overall, there weren’t many scenes featuring the Joker and he had little to do with the plot. It ended up being a huge letdown which was one of the main reasons this movie faced so much negativity.

If you read my other article you know how much I like the Joker and want the character to be portrayed in the best way. They have him and now they can utilize him correctly. David Ayer admitted he would have made the Joker the primary villain if he had a second chance. Well, Warner Bros. has a second chance to do a lot right now and one of them I believe will be unleashing this iteration of the Joker upon us all!
