According to Arrow star Stephen Amell, the season six intro will be loaded with spoilers.

At the start of every episode of Arrow, Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen provides the intro. “My name is Oliver Queen…” is heard first, along with a recap of where he’s at in this point of the season. It’s become a tradition of almost all the CW DC shows, including The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Amell recently appeared at the Heroes & Villains FanFest in New Jersey. He was asked to reveal the season 6 opener, according to TV Line, but couldn’t. Amell said it would spoil too much for season 6, which picks up on the season 5 cliffhanger.

The Arrow star said the following:

"“…for a very specific reason. Because me doing the [new Season 6] intro is probably the biggest spoiler that I could possibly drop about the show.“I would get in so much trouble,” he stressed."

Obviously, the season 6 intro will reveal what happens after the explosions at Lian Yu. These went off after Adrian “Prometheus” Chase killed himself, which set off explosives on the island that all of Team Arrow was on, except Oliver and his son, William.

For those who survived, Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy), Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) and Black Siren (Katie Cassady) were all seen in promotional videos. So, that takes them out of the mix. That leaves, well, everyone else that’s a main character on Arrow, including Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Thea Queen (Willa Holland).

It should set the stage for an intriguing season opener, which creates events that carry the rest of the 22 episodes. There are the season’s big bads to factor in, too, another significant part of the season. Look for plenty to happen when Arrow returns on its new night and time of Thursday, Oct. 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
