With that bit out of the way, let’s delve right into this summary.

Summary

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a film very much in the same vein as its predecessor. The movie immediately starts off with a bang, with a big fight/chase scene. This sets up the muscle for the primary antagonist of the film, Poppy Adams (Julianne Moore). After the majority of Kingsman agents are taken out via missile strike, Merlin (Mark Strong) and Eggsy (Taron Egerton) must enact their agencies Doomsday Protocol.

This Protocol leads them to the Statesman liquor company distillery, where they discover the HQ of their American cousins. Despite some initial misgivings, the two agencies forge a relationship and together take on Poppy’s nefarious plans.

Harry (Colin Firth) is revealed to be alive and well at the Statesman facilities and he eventually joins the team on their mission.

Senior Statesman Agent Whisky (Pedro Pascal) accompanies Eggsy and Harry in their attempt to take on Poppy.

Along the way, the group must persist against betrayal, old enemies, and superior numbers.

It’s an insanely fun, exhilarating blast of a movie and if you haven’t seen it, I suggest you skip to the final slide for my final thoughts and ratings.
