Lucifer 301 preview: ‘They’re Back, Aren’t They?’
Lucifer is back for its third season and fans have been eagerly awaiting an explanation. Here’s your preview of the season premiere,“They’re Back, Aren’t They?”
The Lucifer writers sure know how to grab your heartstrings. Just as Lucifer was about to reveal everything to Chloe, he was yanked away and left in the desert. Was he left there to die, or was he left there for some other, perhaps larger and symbolic, reason? We don’t know. What we do know is that Lucifer has his wings back, so now fans need answers.
Thankfully, the wait is nearly over as the season premiere of Lucifer is upon us. Returning Monday nights at a new time (8pm, in Gotham’s former spot), Lucifer will serve as the lead-in for new Marvel series The Gifted.
Here’s a synopsis of Lucifer’s season premiere, “They’re Back, Aren’t They?”:
“After waking up in the desert with his wings, Lucifer and Chloe try to figure out what happened to him; newcomer Lieutenant Marcus Pierce makes a poor impression due to his stern demeanor; Lucifer finds himself in another compromising situation.”
As the episode’s title might suggest, Lucifer’s wings are back. But why? Are they a reward for a job well done in finding a loophole to banish his mother to a place that isn’t Hell?
