On Thursday night, the latest episode of FOX’s Gotham will take place. This show is a prequel to Bruce Wayne taking on his Batman persona. It documents his rise to become the Dark Knight, as well as a young Commissioner Gordon.

In episode 2, Bruce ventured into Gotham, with his new black suit and mask. He was watched over by Alfred, as he chose to go into the city and begin his fight against crime.

It stemmed from an earlier part of the episode, when Bruce was taken out of the Gotham City Police Department jail. Bruce claimed it was to look for Selina.

Later in the episode, Bruce roamed around the city and found a few people that were looking for him. He fought the guys that wanted to kill him, and received some assistance from Alfred.

Penguin provided a threat to Gordon throughout episode 2. This concluded the former wanting to pay cops to work with him, which infuriated Gordon.

For episode 3 of Gotham, there will be plenty of fallout from the previous week’s events. It has the following synopsis:

"“Gordon travels to Miami to persuade Carmine Falcone to help in the fight against Penguin; Carmine’s daughter Sofia follows Gordon back to Gotham; Bruce is put on Penguin’s radar during an auction at the Iceberg Lounge.”"
