New movie posters ahead of a new Justice League trailer
Warner Bros released new posters and Justice League emojis ahead of a big trailer release this weekend live from New York Comic Con.
The excitement for November’s Justice League is building with the release of new movie posters and a series of Justice League emojis. All of this is to tease Warner Bros’ announcement about the latest Justice League trailer that will come out on Sunday, October 8.
Justice League comes out on November 17 but there is at least one more trailer yet to come. With the advent of New York Comic Con, the last major comic convention prior to the movie’s release, Warner Bros is hyping a new trailer to help build excitement for the film. After Wonder Woman’s total box office dominance this summer, it’s not surprising that the studio is pulling out all of the stops – including releasing emojis and images with Wonder Woman front and center – to help ensure that the film is more like Wonder Woman and less like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Take a look at the emojis and new posters featuring members of the Justice League:
As you can see, the team has been assembled and even though he has been absent through much of the early promotion, there is an icon on the poster for Henry Cavill’s Superman but no Superman poster.
There’s so much riding on Justice League, including standalone movies featuring Aquaman, The Flash, Batman, and, eventually, a sequel to Wonder Woman. If Justice League flops, the entire plan for standalone films could unravel.
