The second week of October is here, which means it’s time for the next seasons of all the superhero shows on The CW to start: Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and even Riverdale, based on Archie Comics characters. These will air for the next seven months.

Supergirl will be the first superhero show to return on The CW for the fall of 2017. It premieres on Monday night, with the episode “Girl of Steel.” It will pick up on the dramatic events of the season 2 finale from May.

In the season 2 finale, it looked like Kara was about to lose Mon-El, who she developed a relationship with. He was sent off in a pod after lead was released into the atmosphere. This was done to make the Daxamites leave Earth. Will Mon-El find his way back to Kara? Or is he gone for good?

Season 3 images for the show make it look like a ceremony will take place for Kara. It looks similar to season 2, episode 1 of The Flash, when the key to the city was presented to Barry Allen in a ceremony, shortly after an emotional toll was taken on the show (Ronnie Raymond’s death).
