Season 4 of The Flash will get underway on Tuesday night. A look at how to watch the premiere episode online.
On Tuesday night, The Flash will make its long-awaited return to television. Season 4 will air, which means the return of Team Flash and their task to take down the latest villain that controls Central City. However, the events of the season 3 finale must be addressed, first.
The season 3 finale saw the defeat of Savitar, who provided issues for Team Flash throughout the 23 episodes. To conquer him, Jay Garrick was freed from the Speed Force. Due to the absence of a speedster in the Speed Force, it caused a storm in Central City. Needing another speedster to fill in and stop the hit the city was taking, Barry Allen voluntarily walked into it. This was the final scene of the season.
The Flash will pick up five months after these events. Given the season 4 trailer that was released, the team will try to retrieve Barry as soon as possible.

The first three seasons had different versions of Harrison Wells. Season 3 had H.R. Wells, a comedic form of the S.T.A.R. Labs scientist. However, he was killed in the season 3 finale, when Savitar stabbed him after using his body-swapping technology to take Iris’ place.
