Riverdale is based on the characters of Archie Comics. It follows teenagers Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones and other characters in the town of Riverdale.

Season 1 told the story of Jason Blossom’s story, and looked to uncover the person who committed the crime; it turned out to be Clifford Blossom, Jason’s father.
